Violence Prevention & Awareness Certification (Online)
Every year across the globe, millions of individuals are affected by violence. In addition to the tremendous physical and emotional toll, violence has substantial medical, societal, and environmental costs, and particularly impacts some of the most vulnerable members of society—young people, elders, and women. Healthcare professionals are a first line of defense in recognizing the signs of violence and supporting violence prevention.
In this online course, you'll examine the various instances of violence that you may encounter in your work as a medical professional. Designed for medical professionals, this course offers important insights into the signs of violence that may be presented by patients in a healthcare setting. By the end of this course, you'll have the information you need to respond to and help prevent these forms of violence.
