Occupational First Aid - Level 1
WorkSafe BC OFA Level 1 is an Emergency Services Training course. Trainees learn about basic life support, CPR, wound care, and more. This course is aimed at those who will be designated workplace first aiders on job sites within 20 minutes of a hospital.
Topics Include:
The one-day Level 1 Occupational First Aid course is offered in-class. Students will learn how to respond to airway blockages, breathing and circulation emergencies, cardiovascular emergencies, and how to perform basic wound care. Students must pass a written exam and may be evaluated on simulated occupational first aid scenarios.
