Women's Health Bundle (Online)
This suite includes 3 courses: Violence Prevention and Awareness, Women's Health Issues, and Perinatal Issues.
Perinatal Issues is a multidisciplinary educational experience designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of individuals who provide care and support for childbearing women, newborns, and families. The demand for knowledgeable providers to meet the needs of this population is dramatically increasing; new jobs are being developed and new services created. Health professionals who work with this population will need continuing professional education to gain a broad understanding of this specialized area of care and to stay current with emerging trends.
Violence Prevention and Awareness, which was designed for medical professionals, offers important insights into the signs of violence that may be presented by patients in a healthcare setting. By the end of this program, you'll have the information you need to respond to and help prevent these forms of violence.
Women's Health Issues helps learners to describe key health issues facing women, both globally and nationally. This course addresses physical and mental health issues for women; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning health issues; effective and empowering communication; and self-care for health and well-being.
