Growing Great Garlic

Learn about the varieties of garlic that will grow in the North and methods to winter plants over for an extended growing season.
Learn the cycle of garlic production including ground preparation and preferred soil types, planting time, mulching, weeding, harvesting and curing the garlic cloves produced, as well as harvesting the garlic bulbils for a valuable secondary product.
Interested in developing a farm gate product? Marketing options are also covered in this class to give a multifaceted introduction to growing great garlic in the North.
