Forklift Training - Fort Nelson
Topics Included:
Forklift Training Course combines classroom experience with hands-on training. In-class, participants will learn: relevant provincial and federal forklift regulations, worksite and equipment inspection techniques, safety tips, the principles of stability, and rules of the road.
In the hands-on portion, the instructor demonstrates proper operator procedures. Topics covered are: safe load handling, startup and shutdown, steering, refueling and/or recharging. Trainees must pass a written exam and demonstrate proficiency with the machine in a hands-on practicum.
