Telehandler - Fort St. John
Telehandler is an entry-level skills training course required for all those who intend to operate or use a Telehandler on the job. There are both in-class and practical components in this course.
In this course we will explain the Federal and Provincial Telehandler Operator requirements and discuss the design, purpose and function of specific telehandler equipment. We will review the required PPE needed for equipment use and demonstrate workspace hazard awareness and risk management techniques.

• Pre-use equipment and site inspections
• Site awareness
• Ground conditions
• Safe work practices
• Load movement and security
• Stance and stability
• Practical machine operations
• Telehandler personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Worksite hazards
